Bad Boys III has named its director and you should be excited about it.

Joe Carnahan has quite the list of movies under his belt and has officially been tapped to direct the 3rd installment to the Will Smith and Martin Lawrence driven franchise. Smith has recently been quoted in an interview on BBC Radio 1Xtra with A.Dot as saying
"I saw Martin [Lawrence] a few weeks ago, and I hadn't seen him for about two years and we just looked at each other. We hugged, and in that moment we both knew we were making another BAD BOYS, so yeah, we're definitely doing another one."
With Smith's stock brought back up recently with his performance in Concussion, this could be the best time for a revival of the BB brand. It can only help Martin Lawrence; whose 2014 series Partners barely got past the 10 episode mark of their 10/90 deal. Meanwhile Téa Leoni... well she most likely will not be returning, but if we're lucky maybe we'll get another Diana King gem.
